quiet sophistication
a short walk (10 mins) from Oriente bus station made this hotel an excellent base for my trip. far enough out of town to be away from the bustle. very clean modern hotel. with extremely helpfull multi lingual staff. Only down side for me was that there are no shops nearby selling basics like snacks/ drinks, so had to resort to the mini bar in my room, which was VERY expensive: Kit Kat was €3.20! and a small bottle of water was €3.00. a vending machine in the hotel would be a great idea. all in all a fantastic hotel (as long as you bring your own snacks).
instead of using taxis which although not expensive can mount up after several journeys, buy a day ticket on the bus for €3.50. this ticket also gives you discounts on tours etc.

Our Vist
We came off a cruise and only stayed one night to insure we made our flight home to the U.S. It was a very modern hotel. The staff, including the person handling our luggage, were very friendly and helpful. Great location for walking to an upscale mall, casino (which we didn’t visit) and an outstanding aquarium. All within walking distance. Also close to the commuter train and subway.
