Excellent hotel

Front desk was exceptionally helpful, compensating for the lack of consierge. Breakfast was really great. Rooms were large and clean. Really have no complaints. Good location as well.

Clean Hotel, Friendly Staff

No complaints about hotel. 10 odd minute walk to city centre boring for 5 minutes, but good adjoining cafe & small supermarket. Hotel call taxis arrive in 2 minutes. Air-conditioning needs regulation, so leave night window bit open ? Don’t pay for breakfast as this seems too expensive many places these days. Several good local cafes, but few Sunday mornings. (Best one in front of Hospital opposite church.)

Traveller's tip on local attractions

1 day Douro trip a must. Boat lunch good, brief Regua destination no good, but love the en route scenery. Bus to Amarante (1 hour each way) good. Local open bus tours ok. We did ’Taylor’ port tour, but buy at airport shop. Ruby/Tawny - ooh yes & don’t miss the Vinho Verde with sea-food !! (Sorry I’m Scottish, wife Japanese.)

Great value

Great value near downtown Lisbon. Superb staff. Nothing bad at all to say about this gem.
