Good quiet place to stay
The Olympia is not in the center of Bruges but is quite convenient to town. It’s quiet, within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. The room was very good and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

Bruges can be seen very well in 1 to 1 1/2 days at the most.

Adequate low budget hotel
If you only need a bed for the night and want to spend most of your time exploring bruges then the Hotel Olympia is fine. It does have a slightly musty smell in the foyer but the double room we had was perfectly adequate apart from not being able to open the window - it was stuck. Buffet breakfast was good and you can get slight discounts on museums, canal trips etc when you show the Hotel’s discount card.

nice hotel and very reasonably priced
Easy walking distance to town center. Hotel staff is very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was good. The only negatives I can say are: hotel is a little bit old and the parking was street parking, which while plentiful, was not immediate to the hotel.
