Good location good value
Prescot Inn is just a walk away from the Medan Tuanku Monorail station. Really good location. Many nasi kandar shops and eateries and malls with fastfood and even a Starbucks. The entrance is easy to miss so look out for it. The lobby is clean and the front desk friendly enough. There’s internets available in the lobby, needs coins. The hotel is quite old and the wood used in the interior is in bad shape but the housekeeping keeps the rooms clean and in good conditions. I stayed just two nights but had two really good nights’ sleep. It’s really good value if you just want a good night’s sleep like me. Recommend it for budget travellers, bussiness trips, students.
I used the trains, monorails for my transport. Cheap and convenient. The stations, or rather the escalators leading to the stations tend to be quite dark esp early mornings and nights. Be careful if you are travelling alone.

You get what you pay for
We were doing an over night due to flight schedule. It was very inexpensive and a decent place to stay for that. If I were to stay longer I would not recommend staying there.

Excellent, friendly, helpfull staff, large comfortable room with nice view, very good service. reasonable prices = great hotel to stay

If you like shopping go to Kuala Lumpur. You will be in heaven :-)
