Great location
Great location, extremely helpful staff. Car park great advantage but note is located in the street directly behind the hotel and as such is easy to miss!
Take a walk to St Nicolas church in the Albacin for the best views of the Alhambra.

Excellent bed for the night.
Dauro I (there is also a Dauro II we did not visit) is a 5-7 minute walk from the centre of Granada and a 6 euro taxi fare (in 2009) from the Alhambra. Just 36 rooms in a refurbished building. This is NOT a full-service hotel. There is no restaurant, for example. But if all you want is an airconditioned bedroom for the night and somewhere to leave your car (extra charge) this is a superb place to stay. We used it as an overnight stop for an early start at the Alhambra next day, but intend to go back for longer next time.

Hotel worthy of revisit
Good place to stay, great lcation for centre of Granada and not too long a walk from Alhambra, decent bus service from airport which stops right outside the hotel for 3 Euros, staff excellent and helpful, hotel was clean and comfortable, only thing to moan about was the fact that the bar was closed for the duration of our stay but that wasn’t really a problem as many bars were near by. Would stay there again
