The hotel and room were excellent. The bed was fantastic, just what we needed after walking around Dublin for the day. Breakfast was excellent and i enjoyed the fact that it was served until 10:30. The only slight down factor is that it was a 30 minute walk from the river, but overall an excellent hotel.
Walk along temple bar and then head off into some of the quieter streets where the quality of the food is better and so are the prices. Try the north side of the city for a more realistic perspective of dublin far from the touristy temple bar.

Superb hotel I would recommend it to anyone in any walk of life
Firstly there was free customer parking at the rear underneath the hotel. The reception staff were very courteous, helpful and professional. The room itself was very spacious, with a magnificent bathroom and overall the feel was very modern. The bed was huge and very comfortable. A couple of gimmick extras were great tv and a cd player, which had a good quality sound from it. The bar was beautiful, staff were extremely fiendly and the food at the bar was a step above any bar food I’ve ever eaten. Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Croke Park hotel. The price was right from hotel.com and I would recommend the place to anyone. I am a business owner and have stayed in many 5 star hotels, which do not come close to this 4 star hotel.

Lovely hotel in Dublin - would return for a longer stay
I was in Dublin with a work colleague for a Conference recently. We viewed the Internet for a hotel to stay in for the 2 nights. The hotel was excellant but a little far from the venue of the Conference which was DCU. Nevertheless we were very impressed with the standard of this hotel. Our early morning call and booking of taxis was very punctual. Overall an excellant choice.
Although the internet stated this hotel was in walking distance of the DCU this was incorrect. Nevertheless the hotel was an excellant choice.
