Dolby Hotel Liverpool
Very much a budget hotel but in a convenient location for Albert Dock area of Liverpool. Welcome and service by the very young staff was a tad surly. Room was clean but basic. En-suite was very small with a shower of the kind where you’re fighting the shower curtain as it clings to you! It was very noisy throughout the night with constant comings and goings. Even had a knock on my door at 4am by a youth that had gone to wrong room number. There was a security chain however so felt I could open door as I was a lone female. A friend of mine was staying in the Premier Inn which for the little bit extra cost was far superior. Wish I’d done the same!

An excellent no frills hotel
The room was small but comfortable having all that we required. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. Would use this hotel again.

What you expect for the money
The hotel was very pleasant and the staff are friendly. I was staying with 2 other colleagues and the room was very small but then again we paid very little for it. The bathroom was tiny and when you turn round in the shower you knock over the soap dispenser. The breakfast was good value for money and very well served. For a business trip where I was spending not much time in the hotel I would definitely recommend it and I would happily use it again.
