A stop on the road
We stopped in Fort Stockton at this Hampton on our way to Phoenix. We arrived late late at night, and called ahead to let them know we’d be late. They were very helpful. We received nothing but the utmost customer care. The staff were very polite and accommodating from start to finish. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay there.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The sand dunes of west Texas are not far away. We traveled through this area late at night, so didn’t get to see them, but were recommended by several friends and family to go to Monahans State Park to check it out. You can actually ride down them, like snow-sledding...also the wind generators are visible throughout this area from the highway.
