Disappointed
The biggest issue we had with the hotel was mold. I am asthmatic and was hardly able to breath. Secondly, the hotel says "gourmet" breakfast. I don’t consider biscuits, gravy, fruit and a quiche gourmet. I was expecting waffles or pastries made from scratch. This was more like a continental breakfast.
Traveller's tip on shopping
Shopping in Salado is a real treat. The whole town was a treat. I would advise travelers to preview rooms if at all possible. I will return but won’t stay at this hotel.
