Comfort in the New Forest

Spacious, comfortable rooms with extensive facilities. Slightly isolated from the town of Lymington which makes driving necessary for evening meals unless eating in the hotel itself. Friendly and helpful staff and overall a very satisfying short break.

Don’t bother with the breakfast...

Nice place to stay, shame about the breakfast. It was very expensive, and you’d think you get a good quality meal and decent service. But no. We waited for 40 minutes to get some bacon on toast and a full English. The poached egg was like a ball of rubber and the sausage (singular) was dry. Plus there was no real apology for the wait or the poor food. Bit of a shame, because the hotel itself was really nice and the grounds wonderful. I probably would recommend staying here, but maybe make other arrangements for meals.
