Inn needs lots of improvements
I knew that this motel would be average or below average when I booked it, because it was offering the cheapest rate that I could find in Kelowna. And believe me I was not dissappointed it can only be summed up as shabby. The room was small, the bed was hard, the pillows lumpy and the bed covers faded and torn. The bathroom was very clean, but the towels thin and undersized. P.S. The weather was great!!

The dated hotel
This was a dated but clean Hotel. This was not a good weekend to be in Kelowna. The amount of loud parties and extra guests that were hanging on the balcony outside our room gave an uneasy feeling. When reported to the desk at 1:00 am the noise was dealt with. The room was clean but dated the carpets outside are very stained. This hotel is over priced for the accomodations.
Traveller's tip on dining
If you would like a small town atmosphere and great food. I mean the best homemade food you have ever tasted, the Cherry Pit in West Bank is the BEST!

Great room for the money
We were very impressed with Recreation Inn and Suites. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and clean and tidy. We found the staff to be very friendly, polite and most helpful. They gave you the feeling of security as they are on duty 24 hrs. and said to call anytime if we needed anything or had any concerns. We found it to be quiet and relaxing. We would definately stay there again.
