Enthusiastic Reference!!!
My sister and I were vacationing in England and Ireland. Her first visit but I’ve spent much time in Ireland. My sister saw this hotel in Hotels.com and said we had to try it. We were absolutely delighted. The hotel is charming. Our room was way at the top of the house....quite a climb up the stairs, but well worth the effort. The bathroom was very well appointed and even had floors that were warmed. The room was MOST charming.

We LOVE this place
The location is great, the area is beautiful, the house is stunning, but it is the staff that keeps us returning to Cahernane House. We cannot say enough about them - friendly, personably, accomodating & professional. There are alot of places to stay in Kerry. We are not tempted to try another. Easily, the best stay we’ve had throughout Ireland. As the Irish say, Cahernane House & Staff are "brilliant".

Not when they are hosting a wedding party
Lovely hotel, however, a wedding on at the weekend we stayed and we were made to feel a bit in the way, i.e not able to use the main dining restaurant. Would have be nice to have be told before we traveled so we could have planned to eat at another venue on the Saturday night, (especially as the hotel makes a feature of it cuisine and dining facilities. Good choice if its not hosting another function thats bigger than you!
