nice place to stay in Dubline
The hotel was clean and fairly central and the rooms were larger than expected. The beds were too firm and there were no closet doors, but overall the stay was enjoyable. Food was good, nice bar in the hotel and gym/pool/spa facilities were well maintained.

quiet and close to the sights
I was a little concerned as on siteseeing maps, it is just off the map, and we were traveling with our parents (father-in-law is 79) but it was close enough to walk to Trinity College and Temple Bar area. You can also catch the hop-on-hop-off buses there to see the city. I would stay at the hotel again.
Traveller's tip on dining
We did not do breakfast at the botel. There is a great coffee shop right around the cornner (on the river) and you can get breakfast there much cheaper, unless you are looking for the full breakfast buffet.

Very good hotel and the surronding area will be great once its done
This hotel is located in a newly developed area 10 minutes walk to the east of the city centre. The hotel is clean, tidy, comfy and very nice. The decor is tasteful, everything is spotless and generally an excellent place to stay. This is not a criticism, and has nothing to do with the hotel, but the surrounding area is currently under redevelopment. By the looks of things itll all be finished by January 2010 and some restaurants are already open and of course the hotel seems to have been open a while too. Once its done the tram line will extend closer to the hotel and the new spectacular bridge will be complete. This hotel is well worth going to as the building work is not close enough to disturb your stay, and if its compete by the time you go I would imagine itll be great..
Dublin is expensive! Dinner will be 20% more than in London, and everything seems a little more costly.
