Good Value for the Money

My room was on the front, facing the street. There were several night clubs within a block of the hotel, which are open all night long. If you can sleep with ear plugs in, you’ll do fine. The room was clean, if slightly worn. I’d stay there again, because it was 1/3 the price of the 4* hotel around the corner

Great room for the price

A very good set-up for the price. Small sitting room, bedroom and quite big bathroom.

Nothing wrong with the hotel but at night the location (Hindley Street) turns into Adelaide’s Party Central, very loud dance music - a location suitable for young adults.

Funky but with some charm

Our room was larger than expected--actually was almost 2 rooms. It is an old hotel--with rooms located around a central open area with trees--not accessible to guests. They have done quite a good job of maintaining the building without changing it very much. Our rooms (there were 4 of us and we stayed there twice) were all very clean with good heat and/or air conditioning. Except for 1 Saturday night--when it was noisy until the bars closed--it was very quiet and good for sleeping. Nice staff too.
