Spend $20 more and avoid this hotel
The location of this hotel is very close to Las Ramblas (only 5 min to walk), which is good, but doors to the hotel are always closed and are open only by maintaining visual contact with a receptionist. This is kind of an indicator how safe the location of the hotel is. Rooms are incredibly small, so you can barely walk in, and do not have space for your luggage. They have A/C but not in "off season" time. They do have wireless internet, which is very slow... Rooms probably had not been maintained for the last 30 years. Bed covers are dirty with a lot of old spots. They do not change sheets and towels. In the bathroom you cannot find anything what you expect to find in Motel 6. Some rooms have a view to the windows or balconies of the very close next building (like 2-3 meters from your window) from which you can observe neighbors underwear in the process of drying and enjoy the smell of their cooking. We demanded to change the room. Do not even think to order a breakfast - this is rip off even for 8 euros. If you do not want spoil your vacation to the beautiful Barcelona - avoid this hotel
