Basic but great for SECC

The hotel is basic, clean rooms and no frills but perfect for a visit for a concert, only 2 mins walk to SECC.

good hotel, very handy for secc

Stayed on night on business at secc. Very handy location & great to have free car parking. Room clean & comfortable. Food good. Hotel was VERY quiet - that is very few guests & no noise.

Ok for the price

Location is good- just across from the exibition centre and the exibition centre train station is just across the road too. It was a good price to pay for when i stayed, on a saturday night over a bank holiday weekend, however when we arrived around 18:30 local time, there was no staff on the front desk. After a few minutes of waiting, we poped round to the bar, which is just behind the front desk and asked a member of staff if we could check-in who was very polite and came straight round to assist. Room was ok, it was a twin room, although my main two notes would be only 1 pillow per bed with no spair in the room and the air conditioning was VERY noisy. The beds where comfortable enough for a decent nights sleep. A average budget hotel trying to go one step further, just... overall- a cheaper alternative to some of the others out there.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Very easy walk into Glasgow centre, straight along the river and follow the signs for the exibtion centre or centre (which ever way you are going!), can’t miss it. Around 15-20 mins from Glasgow Central rail station. Exibition centre mainline railway station is also across the road from the hotel, certainly a cheaper way then a taxi.
