Helpful staff
I would stay in this hotel again, mostly because the staff is very good. They speak English, and are wiling to help in any way. Other things we liked: the memory foam mattress, the easy walk to authentic trattorias, the computer with internet access in the lobby, the breakfast (included), and easy access to public transportation. One caution: if you are very much overweight, dont stay here, because you wont fit into the shower. Other negatives: sirens blared constantly outside our window, and the little TV was quite old and offered very little selection of channels.

Very warm welcome
We chose this hotel as it seemed to receive some favourable reviews. Also, there were some good restaurants and bars nearby, without actually being in the city centre. The hotel staff were very good, and we were warmly welcomed. The front entrance could do with being renovated, as the carpet was rather faded. The room was not quite as presentable as we had expected, the bathroom small, and the shower rather difficult to use, and very small. The bar area and dining room were good. Trams stopped very close to the hotel, which was convenient. We did enjoy our stay there.
Wear comfortable shoes/sandals, as you tend to walk a lot in Rome!
