Small hotel but in great location
Had a one night stay at the Hotel Saint Ferreol in September 2009. It’s not an easy hotel to find as there is only a small entrance at street level. It’s also not suitable for people with easy access needs as there are narrow steep stairs to climb. The hotel itself is very small but don’t let that put you off. It’s size is adequate for what’s needed (a bed to sleep and a shower/bath). The location is very good. A couple of blocks away from the harbour, It’s also a fairly pleasant short walk to the station. The area for breakfast fits in well with the rest of the hotel (i.e. small) but it works still.
The shuttle bus for the airport leaves the bus/train station every 20 minutes and takes 20 minutes. Cost of a single is only 8.50 euro so beats a taxi fare easily.

Brilliant hotel
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough- the couple who run it are extremely kind, helpful and patient. Their English is faultless too. It is perfectly located in the centre of town and only a few street from the Tourism Office/ the main railway station. The rooms are well kept and very clean. The price for the rooms are very reasonable too. I’m so glad I found this hotel!

A Really Nice Find
This small, family run hotel is very well situated to both major tourist attractions and public transportation to the rest of Marseille. The young couple who own and run the hotel are exceptional hosts. The hotel is situated on small street with no automobile traffic so it is very quiet. My room was exceptionally nice for the price and the breakfast accommodation was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.
