Good Hotel though hidden !
The hotel is quite nice. Although it looked old from the outside. The hotel was also hidden. If we had not known about the parent hotel - Hotel Zechini, we would not have been able to locate this one ! But overall the rooms were quite clean. Most importantly for us it was its proximity to the train station and the bus stations.

Noisy and uncomfortable
First the good things - room was clean, breakfast was good, and hotel was reasonable walking distance from parking garage. However, our room overlooked one of the noisiest streets in Venice (could hear people all night, even with window closed). Also, the beds and pillow were too hard, could not sleep well.

Moderno worth finding
This hotel is a clean, convenient place, but very difficult to find. It is down a two-foot wide alley right beside the hotel Zecchini which is where you check in and get breakfast. It was very clean and the bed was good. It is only about a 3 minute walk from the train. We had stayed (last year) at another hotel a few doors away and were way less impressed even though it was a 3 star.
Our room slept three.
