Best View on Capri
Stayed at the Hotel Ambassador Weber on Capri for the second 2 nights of our honeymoon. The hotel gave us a free upgrade because it was our honeymoon and greeted us at the concierge desk with two glasses of champagne (the best Prosecco Ive ever had). Our room was immaculate, comfortable, and had the most picturesque view of the high rock walls and jutting rock islands off the shore of Capri. The hotel has a beautiful pebble beach, although it is too cold to go swimming the first week of November. The hotel also has a free shuttle service that runs regularly into the Capri town center. The only concern I have is that the Hotels website, along with Expedia, allows you to book a room at the Hotel Weber all year round. The island of Capri more or less shuts down from November through the first week of April. We were the very last guests in the Hotel for the season, as they were closing down the day we left (November 3rd). So, just keep that in mind. Otherwise...it was beautiful!
The island of Capri more or less "closes down" from November through the 1st week of April...so dont plan a trip then. Try to go between May and September....it is too cold to swim in April and October.

Great location, excelent service!
The service is a must, since the recption with prosecco and the shuttle bus (It is free, only it) to the center of the city. The wireless does not work in the rooms (what is normal, reading other rewiews) and the transfer service to Marina Grande (where you arrive and leave from the island) is paid, what is not said for the hotel. The breakfast is expensive (you can eat a tuna sandwich or a tipical italian breakfast in the city for the half-or less- price) and we did not eat, but WAS IN OUR FINAL ACCOUNT! At it a all, the hotel has good rooms in the other side where we stayed, our room did not a good view, but in the other side the rooms are very confortable and with a great view. Pascoale was fantastic with his car when we were coming back from the vist from the Blue Grotto. The hotel is very good, has a good relationship with the price, but sta attempt with your account
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Dont forget the shuttle free bus to the city. Go to Marina Piccola, it is in front of the hotel and eat a cheese, muzarella di buffalo and eat in a excellent restaurant, few meters where the shuttle stops

Good Stay
THis hotel is not exactly a 5 star resort, but is well worth the money. The rooms are large and views are amazing. It is not very luxurious but we would stay here again for sure. The staff very very friendly and there is a shuttle into the town of capri running constantly. To us you cannot put a value on this as taxis were a fortune in Capri! We were expecting a private beach however there is only a very small public beach. Although we later learned it is one of the few beaches in Capri so it was a major plus to have.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Take the bus up to Ana Capri. The restaurants are much better there and it has more of an italian feel. Capri is nothing but very high end shopping.
