simple but excellent
The staff were very welcoming and helpful . The service offered was a continental breakfast served at reasonable times though quite expensive . we declined and eat out in a local bar some two hundred metres away. The receptionist rang for our taxi which arrived on time. The weekend was fantastic and we intend to repeat the experience next year.

Great hotel
The Red Fox is an excellent 2-star hotel. I have stayed at many 4-star and 5-star hotels, and would rate this hotel a 3-star hotel. It has a fantastic location, basic but clean rooms with small but modern bathrooms, and friendly, helpful reception staff. The hotel is perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay.
"Le Paris Restaurant" also in Rue de Metz is a lovely restaurant with very good food - not cheap, but nothing is cheap anymore in Le Touquet.
