Great hotel but out of the way
This hotel is wonderfully clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed, in particular, was just as comfortable as my own at home. However, the location is not very convenient if you are the type to return to your hotel during the day while seeing the sights, less because of distance (it is about 10-15 minutes from Shibuya station) and more because it requires a transfer to a different train that is 300 yen round trip to get to and from where you need to go to get your elsewhere in Tokyo. Had I known that, I probably would have spent a little more to stay somewhere that was more conveniently located.

Great Value
The room was small but that may be normal in Tokyo. After making reservations I was concerned that I hadn’t spent enough money and would end up in a poor quality hotel or a bad area of town. Everything was great with the hotel. The free wired internet was fast and reliable. I normally don’t do these reviews but this hotel was such a pleasant surprise, I figured I would help them out.

Swank!
Whoa. Didn’t expect the marble entrance staircase, super-friendly English-speaking staff, or the breathtaking view from the 10th floor. The single room was small, but that’s to be expected in Japan. Call it cozy and save your bucks -- stay at The B!
