Great small hotel
Nice size room with lovely view of historic church. Good service from front desk and housekeeping during my 5 day stay. Very close to Rhode Island Convention Center and nice eateries Local 121 and Cuban Revolution.

CAVEAT
We had paid for a deluxe room but none was available upon arrival. While the hotel staff was gracious and the facility is beautiful, the hotel has made a significant and critical error - they turn their so-so restaurant into a nightclub on weekend nights. On Friday night we were awake from 2:15 to 4 am as the nighclub emptied out and teh rowd partygoers stationed themselves on the street until the police herded them away. Obviously they’ve made a choice to cater to the bar crowd instead of their guests. So, we’ve made a choice too - we’re going to the Westin next time.

Looking Forward to staying again.
The Hotel Providence was wonderful. . within walking distance to RISD.. Nice restaurants in the area and the restaurant in the hotel was very nice.
