Oasis in Hangzhou
After days of travel and work, I found myself totally exhausted and near tears. I walked into the hotel, barely able to communicate. The staff understood immediately and within minutes I was in enveloped in the quiet comfort of my room. Room service turned out to be as fine as any restaurant I’ve dined at anywhere. The most succulent piece of Norwegian salmon, cooked to perfection. When a currency transaction was required, a hotel steward brought it to my room! I’ll stay here again on my next trip.

Not Impressed
This is supposed to be the best hotel in HangZhou. the staff are well trained. the room need renovation and a bit small. the carpet is not very clean and the kingsize bed is made up of two smaller mattress. I can feel the seam in the middle when I laying down.

Top class
With no exaggeration this is the best hotel I have tried in over 10 trips to China. The location right in front of the West Lake is simply perfect and the hotel’s decor is very pleasant. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and functional. On top of that, the staff is very friendly and helpful in assisting with all requests, including reservations for trains, busses etc.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
The West Lake is simply stunning, definitely take the chance to tour it by boat, bike, or electric minibus. The Xihu Tiandi district is 10 minutes on walk from the hotel, with very pleasant walkways on the water and lots of upscale restaurant and bars.
