Small, quiet, clean and well located hotel in Paris
The Hotel Beaumarchais is in a good location & area of Paris. It is within easy distance of the Gard du Nord and Eurostar. The hotel is very close to Bastille and the Marais - but just far enough away from the hustle & bustle of both districts. The hotel is small, comfortable, clean and quiet - everything I needed for my short stay. The staff were most helpful. On my penultimate day I had to change rooms, the move took place after breakfast so as not to take a chunk out of my day of sightseeing. I think that the price is good for an average size room with bathroom en-suite. I loved the quirky bathroom design and the bright colours in the bedroom. Hotel rooms in Paris are usually small & as my visit was purely sightseeing and catching up with friends, I was out of my room 75% of the time. There are two metros and an adequate bus service very close by & very convenient. My only criticism would be to have a flat screen tv in the room instead of the tiny tv high up (and difficult to see). I would recommend this hotel. Yvonne, London. Sept 2009

Stylish Hotel in Great Location
The hotel was a great find. With 2 metro stations within short walking distance, it’s easy to get around. There is lots to explore and see within walking distance as well, you can walk all the way to the city center and back. Good nightlife is not far away either. I liked the modern style of the hotel, and the reception was very friendly and helpful. I slept very well and the two different rooms I stayed in were quiet. In comparison to the average hotel room size in Paris, the rooms didn’t feel too small. On my next stay in Paris I will definitely come back to this hotel, and I have recommended it to friends.
