Good but not yet 5 star standard
Lovely location with fabulous views over the bay. Rooms a good size and comfortable & clean. Service not up to 5 star standard, especially at breakfast, which was a little disappointing. Spa treatment was very good, & also good value. Outside furniture at the beach was a little tired/frayed around the edges. Bathroom was a high standard & finish. Great value from hotels.com but would not be worth the fulll list price. It is about a 20 min walk into the old town of Dubrovnik, which would be a difficult walk back uphill if you were elderly or with children. Would stay again.
Eat at Gil’s or on the terrace at Nautica- Gil’s for the trendy vibe & Nautica for very good food. Walk the walls all the way round. Go to Jazz Troubador for the crooner type singer.East West beach bar is great for lunch- don’t be put off by the slightly untidy shingle/sand beach.Try the octopus salad, or fried octopus waith salsa & dips.

Great place to stay
Not the cheapest hotel in Dubrovnik, but well worth the money in my opinion. It has a great location and the quality of the service was first class. If I ever return to Dubrovnik, I would have no hesitation in using this hotel again.
You can eat heartily at the hotel which has a splendid choice of buffet breakfast. You would certainly not go hungry there!
