Excellent Hotel
We read a few of the reviews about this hotel. Comments about the staff being rude, the rooms being dirty and the facilities being closed. Well I’m not sure where all those people had done, but it couldn’t have been the Oban Bay hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were fantastic, very spacious and the spa was excellant. You should try the hottub. It’s situated outside. We sat in it in the rain. very refreshing. I would deffinately recommend this hotel to anyone.
It’s very well situated in Oban, just a sort walk from the centre. Great for day trips to Mull and other islands. The only problem is parking, but there is a car park at the back of a nearby cathedral, again just a short walk away.

Old Fashioned but Quaint
Hotel had very much an old family run hotel feel to it but warmed to it immediately. Large comfortable bed, large hotel room, bathroom clean, no fancy frills and served its purpose. Location is stunning.

Great location
Great location with views of the Isles. Short walk into town and short drive to ferry terminal. Evening meal was ok standard (not fine dining) but miss out on scrambled egg at breakfast - looked like it had come out of a tin. Overall a pleasant place to stay. If full car parking can be a problem.
