Inadequate Management
The woman at the desk was too busy and had no help. Our room was extremely hot and she did not recognize it. When I opened the windows because she did noting, she was annoyed and did not offer to turn on the air conditioning. She was anoyed when I asked how the TV remote worked. She seemed to also be working in the restaurant. No...I would not go back. Good location, though.

Great location with excellent off-road parking
Great location just out of main town centre, in a lovely quiet side street, but still only a 10 minute walk away from the cathedral and main shopping/restaurant area. Secure parking area was major plus point for us, off the road in a lovely private courtyard adjacent to the hotel. Our Superior Double room on the ground floor was however disappointing, with decor, carpet and bed looking tired, faded and in need of refurbishment. Hotel very welcoming though & staff very helpful.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Avoid the main town centre by car as there are major roadworks due to the installation of a new tram system due to open in 2010. Many roads are shut or operating one-way diversions. Pedestrians on foot ok.

Quaint Location
It was alittle hard to find at night, but the clerk waited for us to arrive. The staff was nice and very helpful.
