Palace Hotel - EXCELLENT!!!
The loacation was perfect, staff exceptionally accomodating and helpful and the breakfast was outstanding.

Great location, services, but pricey
Zagreb’s grand dame Palace Hotel offers an extremely good location, easy walking distance from all Old City destination sites, and it offers a raft of efficient, kind and caring staff. It also serves great food, with an excellent and varied breakfast buffet included, and a lovely outdoor cafe as well as a full-service restaurant. In dollars, it seems a bit pricey, but I recommend it, and I would return.

A Old room or a new room
We stayed the first night in Zagreb at the Palace, the room was small, old, and not very clean. Very depressing room. After spending 5 days in Split we returned to the Palace for our last night before heading to Paris. Two totally different rooms, the first stay i would not recommend to anyone, the second stay was much better and would recommend.
