Charming
The level of staff attentiveness exceeded any luxury hotel I’ve ever enjoyed. But the excellent location, the great hotel bar, and the friendly staff and neighborhood simply put this experience over the top for us. Be careful not to extend your stay at the front desk, if you are able to extend your stay online, because the online rate is equivalent to the hotel’s travel agency rate, and is MUCH better than the front-desk rate. The hotel does get busy so book in advance.

Great Service
I thought the service was great. The desk help spoke English very well. The bell-hop guy was really helpful and even helped hail me a cab once and tell the taxi driver (in Chinese) where I wanted to go. The breakfast buffet was weird, but that was more cultural than any sort of service oriented thing. The room was really clean. And when I called for more toilet paper, they brought it right away.
