Lived up to expectations
Based on various reviews, I was expecting a clean room with internet access, a friendly, English-speaking staff, and a location near the city center (as opposed to near the train station, a longish walk away from the most interesting part of town). The hotel satisfied all of these expectations. The only thing to carefully watch are the days and hours when the hotel is locked and there is noone in reception(these are clearly noted on the website)to avoid surprises at the time of checkin. Would definitely stay in this hotel (or others in this chain)again...

Great room for the money
There were three of us (parents and one teenager) and it was a great solution for us because they had a studio with kitchen + separate bedroom. The room was clean and basic, but a good value for the money and a good location.

Don’t arrive after 21:00
My plane arrived late and I didn’t get into Rennes until 21:30. Unfortunately, this hotel closes at 21:00 and there is absolutely nothing you can do to get your room key after that unless you made prior arrangements. I had to walk 6 km with my bags to find a hotel with a vacancy. They still charged me for my first night’s stay.
