The best of Italy
Could not ask for a better experience. A small castle with eleven rooms that have been renovated beautifully. Great staff and wonderful food. It’s out of the way but for a wonderful evening it could not be bette. Should be five stars.

A beautiful retreat, will certainly return
Everything about Castello D’Oscano was enchanting to us. The only tiny "gripe" is that the shower box was made for the "little people"! Staff and service were supreme. We loved the entire experience.

Fairytale Castle in the heart of Umbria
Castell’Oscano is a dream location for a romantic stay. It’s very close to Assisi and Perugia, and is located in the heart of Umbria, one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. The room was extremely large with a sitting room and a bedroom along with a cozy bathroom. Our dinner was nothing short of spectacular and only cost thirty-five euro a person (not including wine) because we were staying in the hotel. Breakfast was included and there is a lovely pool on the grounds. I wish we could have stayed there longer...
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Keep in mind that castles were not built with bathroom and that they had to be added in for guests, and you will enjoy your stay much more. If you are looking for an amazing bathroom with a tub and all the other bathing acoutrements, this isn’t the hotel for you. However, if you are searching for an authentic, magical castle in a beautiful, secluded location, this is THE PLACE for you!
