Very impressed
Mounts Bay Waters Apartments is the only way to go in Perth. The location is fabulous, bus stop right in front that will take you to the Esplanade where you can catch the train or bus to about anywhere easily. The reception staff are great. Nicest, most accomodating people we’ve met. The apartment is comfortable, very quiet, clean and well equipped. If anything was needed (from different cooking pans to suggestions for dinner) the receptionist on duty was very willing to help. The dining room in the lobby was more than helpful in providing services and filling our needs. There is a small convenience store located right by the apartment. We will definitely return!

A pleasant surprise
Mount Bay Waters Appartment Hotel was not our first choice when selecting accodation for this trip. We were concern that it is not within the CBD area and worried if we will have problem getting around. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we got there and fell in love with the area right away. It is within walking distance to the King’s Park and a few minutes bus ride to the Bus Terminal (which bus stop is right in front of the appartment, and free!). From the bus terminal we either walked to the shopping areas or took the trans Perth buses. We were not at all inconvenience with its location, infact it gave us a feeling as if we were coming back home after a long day, instead of to a hotel room. The service was excellent, and we had a sense of security and privacy, as if we were back home. We rented the 2 bedrooms appartment, fully equipped with a kitchenette. My children were happy with the arrangement and the space it provided for them to run around. I will definitely stay there again for our next trip, I hope soon!

Pretty average
We expected this to be 4 star quality accommodation and, overall, it wasn’t. The apartment itself was basically fine, other than an extremely poorly equipped kitchen. It was as if you were being discouraged from using the kitchen facilities. We pointed this out to the reception staff and they were definitely unsurprised - they had heard it before. The dishwasher leaked all over the floor. The balcony gets no sun and did not look appealing at all to sit out on. My wife said that one of the reception staff was very short with her at one point.
