Great Location
This hotel had everything I wanted in a beach resort: Ocean-front location, wonderful pool setting, lots of restaurants to choose from within walking distance if I got tired of the hotel’s restaurants, shopping. Yet, I always felt I was in a private setting.
Traveller's tip on dining
Red Onion Restaurant--walking distance to hotel is popular with foreigners and families. Good food and reasonable prices. Sunset--my husband and I would buy beers from the coconut vendor at the shopping bazaar (right next to the hotel, at the residence side), sit, and watch the sunset for a few baht. Beats buying overpriced drinks at the hotels but you have the same view, same comfort.

Fantastic hotel - would highly recommend. cant wait to go back!
Fantastic hotel with wonderful staff. we stayed with our 1 year old daughter and they couldnt have done any more for us. we stayed in a deluxe garden villa which was lovely and all of the staff went out of their way to make a fuss over our daughter. we stayed just as Bangkok airport reopened so the hotel was at half capacity but it picked up just as we left and there were still plenty of beds available around the pools. the hotel itself is new and maintained to a high standard but is very family friendly. we can’t wait to go back next year.

Perfect Vacation spot!!
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in the month of November and we absolutely recommend this hotel 100%!! Hotel is located right across from the beach, complimentary breakfast was delicious, pools were nicely maintained and hotel staff was very courteous and spoke great English! We only stayed here for half of our trip and went over to Kata Beach for the other half of our trip. We kept saying over and over how much we wanted to go back to the Movenpick! I would definitely stay here again!!!
Traveller's tip on nightlife
Nightlife is not crazy here as it is in Patong which is very nice. We took a Tuk Tuk over to Patong and it was just too much for us to handle. Karon beach is great for a relaxing stay w/ not a lot of street-side hagglers!
