Enjoyable Jersey Break at Apollo Hotel
We had no problems whatsoever with this Hotel - extremely courteous and helpful staff, everything with a smile. Breakfast was fabulous (even had fresh fruit salad !). The bacon was the leanest Ive seen for a long while. Our room was plenty large enough - en suite clean and fresh - TV was a touch small but we didnt watch anything other than a little news anyway. The swimmimg pools were smallish but spotless. We enjoyed the short walk into the centre of St. Hellier every morning, and with ample free car parking did not have to worry when returning from days out into Jersey. A very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
Beautiful clean beaches to the south of the island and rocky cliffs to the north.

Worth paying a bit more
Good location for exploring the town centre so ideal for a business break-especially if youre on a budget. Breakfast very good. However, could do with a bit of a facelift-and our room had the worst view of a flat roof and a lot of day time noise! The staff are not that warm and friendly..not what we expected from a family run place. Worth paying a bit more-also be prepared to be scared by clinetele who frequent what we assumed to be the hotels pizza/pub next door...not really a good advert!
Wildfire opposite the Royal Yacht was a great place..as was the new bar a couple of doors up from it-run by a local dj apparenlty-dont know the name but you cant miss it-it had cushioned walls and a silver bar!
