Nice rooms, pool, beach
I have stayed in several all inclusive resorts on the north coast. This one had more Dominican families than the others which positively added to the atmosphere. Pool and beach were nice. Shows were good. Rooms were large and nice. Food was below average and I am not picky. Good place for families and kids.

Would go back another year?
Our stay was pleasant. The room was alway clean and comfortable. The pool area and beach area was good. My daughter enjoyed the pool daily. There was the plaza that is close by the hotel where you can get pizza or other food I am used to eating in the United States. The only thing was the food could have been better. Overall we would go back to this hotel.

id recommend it
we just stayed here with our 2 kids ages 2 and 5. the room was clean. we brought a sound machine to block out the noise, but the room actually blocked out most of the noise. unfortunately, the pool closed at 6pm which is weird for us from the u.s., but another hotel we stayed at had the stay rule so maybe thats typical for them. i would rate the food about a 2-3 out of 5 stars. i am pretty picky, but my husband agreed it wasnt too good. i could find a little to eat at each meal. the beach was nice and just a 5 minute walk along a pretty path. a few people trying to sell you stuff, but not too bad. they went away if you said no the 1st time. we got to kayak and we took the sailboat out although they tried to discourage us. they wouldnt let anyone do any of the water sports on thurs. of easter wkend. i think their holiday starts thurs though. most of the workers were very nice and friendly, although i was surprised that they didnt speak much english, even at the check in desk. i was also surprised that there was only 1 other american there they we noticed. i guess it was more locals and europeans. since we had the kids we didnt see any shows. i did water aerobics and they had beach and water volleyball.my son loved the foosball tables. it was not crowded at all so you didnt have to wake at the crack of dawn to save a pool or beach chair. we ate at the buffet for breakfast and dinner. just so so. we ate at the ibiza beach for lunch. hotdogs, hamburgers and pizza, edible, but not great. we ate at he ibiza for dinner 1 nite(reservation) and the roasted chicken and mashed potatoes were good, the paella ok.overall, i would recommend this to a family with kids that arent looking for a whole lot of entertainment.if you are looking for just a nice, decent hotel on a budget this is a good one, just dont expect too much of the food and maybe itll be better than you think.
