Great Hotel
The Lamp Liter Inn was a great price and a great location. The landscaping at the hotel is exquisite. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others. The only thing that we didn’t like was all the rooms don’t have bath tubs, but if requested you can get a tub.

Clean, reasonable rate, good location
Don’t be afraid to stay here, it’s totally fine. I stayed here and was actually in the room a lot working and was never grossed out or nervous about the area. However, be careful. I left a BUNCH of food in my room but nothing else because I needed it with me, and the housekeeping staff thought I had checked out and took it all. I got a few things back, but not the wine, crackers, unopened water bottles, etc...

I got the business rate the 2nd night and it was still (with taxes and fees) more expensive than Expedia.

Not quite ready for prime time
This old motel is trying, but it hasn’t made it. For example, the AC ran continuously, and was unable to adjusted or turned off. They’ve obviously put money into the place, but most folks that are a bit squeamish will be very disappointed.
