Most amazing staff
The staff at the Pearl is far and away the nicest and most attentive I have ever had the pleasure of experience on a trip. They went out of their way to set up an extra boat excursion to an island because we had booked another excursion on the only day it ran. They knew from talking to us during the week how much we would like it and went the extra mile. We also wanted to experience the local events outside of the tourist stuff and decided to attend the Rugby Championship game. When we told the staff of our plans one of the team who was going offered to meet us in Suva and take us to the game as it was outside of the city and needed several transfers. It was a good thing we did or we might have gotten lost. There are so many other example of them going out of their way to make our stay one we will remember for a lifetime.

Great Stay
We had a great stay at the Pearl Resort. When we arrived 5 hours early before checkin, they welcomed us in the lobby and got us into our room within 30 minutes! The staff is very friendly, especially the activities staff. They provided us with plenty of stuff to do outside. The only down fall was there wasnt much to do inside when it was raining outside. The food at the Bistro restaurant was kinda of bland, but over all a good selection. They also had different dinner specials almost every night. For the two weeks we were there, the resort was pretty quiet and relaxing. Except for one weekend where they hosted a wedding, it was packed and too busy.
Traveller's tip on dining
There are only two main resorts in the Pacific Harbour area of Fiji, so theres not much of a selection of food. You have those two resorts and then the Arts Village has 3 food places and a small market. Theres no nightlife in this area.
