well worth visiting - we would certainly go back. Receptionist very pleasant & helpful when we arrived. Room clean, with kitchenette area. I would suggest taking mugs for tea/coffee as the cups are so small, also a teatowel. A shelf in the bathroom would also be useful - but apart from that the room was everything you could want. Getting to the hotel is very easy from the airport. Take the 23 or 98 bus from outside the terminal - number 23 stops right outside hotel, 98 about 2 mins walk away. At the bus station outside the airport terminal buy a 7 day bus pass - even if you are only planning to stay a few days - because it is only 15 euros, cheaper than buying several one day passes. It is so easy to get around Nice by bus & tram and the services are frequent.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Monaco is well worth a visit. You can get a bus from Gare Routiere (Blvd Jean Jaures) - cost only 1 euro and takes about 45 mins. But we came back on the train - only takes about 15 mins and costs about 6 euros. In both cases you get a good view of the coast.

Does what it says on the tin
Nothing special but not bad either. The room was comfortable, sandy floors showed lack of good cleaners, shower was average. Since it is a low cost hotel it was fairly good value for money.

Great for the Price
Saved a lot through hotels.com. Happy with the accomidations - clean, and the kitchenette was a great money saver. Very close to the beach, but very out of the way from the center of town. Even to get to the train station was a 15 euro taxi ride (although there are 2 buses which will take you there, but they stop running as early as 9pm.) Would recommend, but not the best.
