No maid service
Is definitely a nice place to stay, BUT there are few quirks that the traveler should be aware of....unlike most motels/hotels they do NOT come in every morning to make your bed; give you clean towels; clean the bathroom; and with this room having a kitchen with a coffeemaker, they do not give you a new supply of coffee/sugar/cream. For a nominal fee, they will come in and do maid service for you. But if you call the office, they will supply you with coffee/towels and such, but it was not an automatic process. Overall, it was a nice place to stay

Inexpensive
On the pro side, the views were beautiful,the room was inexpensive,spacious, clean and well decorated. On the con side check in isn’t until 4pm and check out is at 10am. The maid never came to refresh our room with towels etc. The pool needed maintenance and the only restaurant is closed on Sundays.

We enjoyed the location of out visit at the Genoa Celebrity Resort.
Our stay at the Celebrity Resort in Genoa, Nv. is a nice location and easy to drive from the Sacramento area. The spa facilities however are going under some repair and all the soaking tubs were closed down. The tubs that were open were not very warm for soaking in but we found one that was comfortable to use and it was pretty much the only one everyone else there discovered and it was full. The studio room was nice but we had to wait a few hours before getting a asigned room as the housekeeping took their time cleaning.We were told the day before we could have a early check in but that never happened. We stayed on the 4th of July wk. end so we found lots of activities around the area to do. Virginia city hosted a 4th parade and Lake Tahoe had evening fireworks. We don’t gamble. Had a real nice, good portions dinners at the Celebrity resort resturant. My grade for this facility is about a B- as it does need some maintance on some of the buildings outside structures and the spa facilities.
