Great Location
This location was perfect for us. A short 5 min. walk to downtown Napa meant we did not have to drive to go out. This was our first stay at a b&b so we chose the carriage house that was a separate building in the back yard. Probably not as ornate as in the house but we liked the privacy. We had our own entrance so did not feel like we were bothering anyone when we cam in late at night. The breakfast was good and the receptions in the evening were nice to meet the other guest. All of the wineries recommended recognized the business cards we were given and waived the tasting fees. This saved us a ton of money. Another plus was a local shipping company that comes to the b&b to ship all your wine home. We just had to fill out a shipping slip provided and leave our wine at the house. We went for our 22nd anniversary and had a blast. We would definitely stay there again. Our only regret is that the owner, who we had heard so much about, was on her honeymoon so we did not get to meet her. However, the people she had helping in her absence were wonderful.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Most restaurants in Napa let you bring your own wine to dinner and just charge a corking fee to open it. Some even waive the first bottle so you can bring the wine you buy during to day and enjoy with dinner.

It was our first time in Napa, but it won’t be our last! If you are looking for a B&B in Napa, this place is perfect.

We loved McClelland-Priest B&B! Celeste is not only a wonderful host, but an expert chef, and she is full of tips about what to see and do in Napa. We look forward to visiting again!
