Wouldnt hesitate to recommend
Ideal location in pedestrian zone so no traffic noise. This hotel is really just a place to sleep. No lounge/lobby or bar but it suited us perfectly as we like to be out and about. Breakfast table looked inviting but we didnt try it as too many cafes/bars on the doorstep to try. Room well serviced every day. Light and airy with small balcony. We were on 5th floor so well away from any pavement noise. Some noise from other guests coming in late in corridor at night but nothing that really disturbed us and that can happen in any hotel. Its the guests and not the hotel! Only warning is to beware of slippery wooden floors in rooms! tapas bar next door to hotel do tapas type food all day. Every item has a cocktail stick in and you pay for the number of sticks you have on your plate (1 euro 50 each). Great idea and fun to try all sorts of food in small quantities.
Traveller's tip on dining
Valencia has a very clean, efficient and cheap transport system, a joy to use. Beach worth a visit; 20 mins on bus/metro. Lovely wide sandy beach with lots of restaurants to choose from. . Americas cup harbour area disappointing - more of a building site than harbour.

Vey good value
We take four or five long weekend breaks throughout Europe each year and so have some experience of the range and quality of hotels. This was certainly one of the best we have stayed in in this price bracket. It is ideally situated for the old city, for shopping areas and for bus and metro links to the airport, the port/beach area and the City of of Arts and Sciences.(the Metro from the airport takes you to within 100 metres of the hotel - Xativa station)
Traveller's tip on dining
For good lunchtime value and authentic local atmosphere try the cafe/bar opposite the central market. Also (even more reasonable and local)the small restaurant facing you at the second right hand turn along the Calle de Caballeros going west from the Plaza de Menizes in the old Quarter.
