No Frills - Spotlessly Clean - Excellent Value - Recommended
I only had a one night stay at the Vadian. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Single room was small but with ample facilities (TV / WARDROBE / WASH BASIN / PHONE & DESK) Comfortable bed and fresh linen. Shower and W/C were shared but spotless. Parking is limited to two spaces with a small extra charge (pre-book if parking is required) THIS IS A NO FRILLS HOTEL THAT IS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE - AT THE RATES CHARGED IT CANNOT BE FAULTED. EXCELLENT VALUE - WOULD RECOMMEND
Traveller's tip on local attractions
St. Gallen is a very quaint, old town. Cobble stoned streets - lots of churches. As with most parts of Switzerland it is kept clean and tidy. Plenty of bars/cafes/restaurants. Modern and Traditional shops. Ideal for a weekend break. N.B. The church bells start at 06.00 - you will not need an alarm call!!
