Great place, great location, great staff.
The most satisfying stay I have had in any hotel of any city in either America or Europe. And that is even when they have had a fire in the kitchen just two days before. The staff was very welcoming and helpful in every way. Of particular charm and warmth are the two youths Andrew and Paul. Spacious, spotless room with the best futuristic shower stall this side of Tokyo, flat screen TV and great night view of the Frontenac. Due to the fire the breakfast was served at the Café Bouad, which was more than adequate though too americanish for my taste (good coffee but no baguettes, no croissants; just eggs, bacon and the like, or yoghurt/granola)

New and old
We loved this hotel and the restaurant too. The place is a mix of old and modern. Note that there is not an elevator, so youve got to negotiate some steps. I would also say that this place is probably not for everyone because of the lack of some amenities that some may feel are required. Make sure you book a reservation for the restaurant if you want to have dinner there as it fills up quickly. The meal was perhaps one of my favorites anywhere in Quebec.

Great Room - Fair Breakfast
The rooms in this Bed and Breakfast are very modern which I enjoyed since the house itself goes back to the 18th century. The bed was comfortable, the interior decor was quite warm, and there was plenty of space to sprawl out. My only complaints (and they are minor): 1. There are no views from the rooms. There is a large tree blocking any view, which is too bad. 2. The breakfast options are carb heavy.
