wonderful historical hotel
Loved the Valencia--its history gave it lots of character but all the amenities were modern. The staff was friendly and helpful and the views of the Pacific were spectacular. The bed was really comfortable as well! We definitely will return.

A wonderful retreat
The room was good sized with a fantastic full view of the ocean. The history and charm of the hotel are still present and the service was top notch.

small but elegant
This was a different experience for us. We have been used to hotel chains. This is different. It had good points: the view, the location, and the service. It also had a big drawback: only one elevator to service the hotel.We had an issue with noise level in the room the hotel originally assigned us the first day, but after we complained they gave us a great room. Can’t ask for more!
