Good choice
We had been planning to visit Port Soller some time ago and had earmarked Aimia Hotel as the place we would stay when we did. We were not disappointed. First impressions, at midnight, were perhaps not the best but when we woke on our first morning and had a good look at the bedroom & bathroom/swimming pool/bar/dining area/spa/ etc we were very impressed. For us, it was almost perfect as it provided all we needed and our evening stroll down to the beachside provided good choices of restaurants but the food in the hotel was also very good. The only down side was the bar closed promptly at 11pm and there weren’t enough sun umbrellas to provide enough shade, if required, most of the day. There wasn’t much shade from trees so more umbrellas would be beneficial I think. Otherwise we were very happy!
The mossies seemed to like me so by the time I got home from my ten day trip I was covered in about 15 bites so if you are prone to the little blighters (like me) be prepared with a suitable repellent!!!

chic comfort
We were delighted to arrive at this very modern hotel after a long delayed flight. We checked in and quickly unpacked in our well-spec’d room with glistening bathroom and large balcony before heading out into lovely Port de soller for a toothsome paella and a carafe of rosado. A 2 hour siesta in the large, high-thread cotton-sheeted bed saw us ready to commence the holiday properly and we were then quite often to be found lying on the sun-loungers beside the sonewhat cold but beautifully maintained pool. Trashy mags were thumbed, glasses of cold rose consumed and body parts were angled to ensure golden-limbed perfection was achieved. A lovely hotel.
Traveller's tip on dining
walk to the lighthouse and then follow the walkers trail a little way. Sit under a pine tree and just absorb the mallorcan blue-skied peace.

Fabulous, relaxing hotel. Well located !
Wonderful, contemporary, modern hotel! Our room was fabulous: on the 2nd floor and had a seaview. Staff were friendly, attentive and extremely responsive to any requests. Hotel was clean throughout. Breakfast catered for all and was very extensive. Small negatives. This was a quiet hotel, except for the road-cleaning which took place 2 mornings that week. Also the spa was closed for most of the week we stayed: manager on leave with no cover.
