Mercure Hotel, Palermo
I enjoyed my stay at the Mercure Hotel very much. The traffic in Palermo is very cahotic, but the hotel was very nice. I didn’t particularly like the modern furniture in the lobby.

not bad hotel
hotel room is quite small, but pretty comfortable. better bring own toothbrush and paste as hotel does not provide sufficient amount of it. All in all, breakfast is decent, location is pretty near city centre, and hotel is quite pleasant to stay in.
plan trip carefully as buses to other area is not frequent.

Good Location - Very central
The location is what sold the room to me, and being just off Via Roma was very central and safe. The breakfast room and front desk service (all spoke english) was very good. Internet and room safe both were available. the only negative was the small size of the TV and the heat in the hellways and the room. I couldnt figure how to get the heat turned down. I would recommend this hotels to others.
