Good hotel but don’t forget to book a table if you want to eat in the restaurant
Good hotel, about half the staff speak English. Good breakfast. Couldn’t get in the restaurant in the evening so don’t know what it is like.
The hotel is very busy and has a very popular restaurant. If you don’t book you won’t get a table -we fond this to be the case two days running. Also they have bikes for hire. They are useful as it is a couple of miles to the town centre tourist attractions. People book the bikes well in advance - another example of the towels around the pool culture! Buses stop a couple of hundred metres away and there are about two an hour into town.

Lovely & Quaint Hotel
What a wonderful way to begin our visit in Trier, Germany. The hotel staff was so helpful, friendly and hospitable at all times. The rooms were clean, cheerful and done in a colorful French decor. The complimentary morning buffet was outstanding and we looked forward to having a great cappacinos, fresh fruits, cheeses, eggs, breads and German breakfast cuisine, such a great way to start one’s day! Another feature of this lovely hotel, is that its patio is surrounded by lovely rose gardens which lead into a beautiful park with a large pond which is inhabited by beautiful swans. AWH! How wonderful it was to take morning and evening walks in that park! All in all a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return there.

Life in the park
EXcellant location,easy to find.Situated in a public part so great for gentle walks.5 mins drive to centre of Trier or can use good bus service.Our bedrooms were clean but very basic & in need of an update but the public spaces are first class. Very helpful staff.The food is excellant & you have choice of formal restaurant or more informal seating areas most with a view of the park.One word of warninmg it is a popular wedding hotel so if you are unlucky you may get noisy guests in the early hours of the morning disturbing your sleep
