Nice clean hotel in a great location
I stayed here on the first night of my visit to the lovely city of Prague. For the price, the hotel room was nice, clean and spacious. The best part of the hotel is the great location as it is literally a couple of blocks away from the IP Pavlova train station as well as the train line. The old town (Stare Mesto) is a short 10 minute walk away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking value and location. The only downside was the erratic nature of the Wifi connection at the hotel.

Clean cheap but extremly ignorant male receptionist
Hotel was very cheap and beds made everyday however one may suggest calling it a room in a aprtment block. This wasnt a "normal" hotel you walked into a set of apartments walked up a dingy stairs and into your room. saw no other tourists on our three nights there, didnt even see signs of any tourist activity. when we arrived man at reception so so so so so so rude and unhelpful. asked him one simple question "what direction is wenceslas square in?" in response he slammed down a map on the counter and circled rudely, where exactly we were. so rude and ignorant throughout our checkng in and checking out. didnt see him any other times throughout our stay as reception is in a different buliding than where the rooms are. would NOT stay there again simply due to this man, lack of tourist information and the safety of the "apartent block" was most definitely in the back of my mind throughout my stay merely due to the lack of other tourists we were provided with a safe as promised. room was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels however stain on carpet and smelly bathroom, broken shower and old withered furniture left this "hotel" a lot to be desired.
stay here only if you can "rough it up" and dont have enough money for sumwhere better and u dont mind walking up hill .... good enuf location but scenery wise stay somehwere closer to charles bridge area for scenery and restaurants and shops. ten minute walk from wencesals square from pension brezina
