good for price
The hotel was basic but very clean. The "shower"s pressure was sadly lacking as we were on the third floor. Also on our 3rd night of 5 both heaters in the room stopped working (not ideal in October). However apart from those 2 things we found it fitting for the price we paid and the staff were very helpful. They spoke English too when we struggled with our French :) Overall we found the hotel comfortable and quiet and most importantly clean!!
Traveller's tip on dining
Theres a lovely little bistro a little way down Rue de Dunkerque (Cafe Select I think) and they do various daily deals and the food is wonderful :)

happy with the hotel
I stayed this hotel with a friend and my 4 years old daughter for four nights. I booked a room with 2 single beds, but they gave us a room with a single and a double(2 singles put together) beds in a big room, which was very nice. Also they served quite nice breakfast (yummy breads and coffee!), which I didn’t pay extra for my daughter. As most people stated already, hotel looks run down a bit, but it was very clean. Most of staffs are friendly and nice too. I wished they had a fridge in the room and had cheeper internet service though. Overall it’s totally worth the money I paid for the hotel, I had no problem staying, thank you very much.

Double room turned out to be 2 single beds pushed together with a double sheet over the top. room was a bit cramped but the position of the hotel was excellent- staff didn’t speak very good english though

literally round the corner from foliere’s and the "red" light district but far away enough not be be a burden-excellent bars, cafe’s and restaurants within a 10 minute walk and only 5 minutes to the metro
